Private Cloud Services Division for a national banking and insurance organization
Project
My work at this organization was proprietary, so this portfolio sample is a masked representation of one part of that work. I used the outline, flow, and design concepts I created for this 3-page wiki but changed all content to remain compliant with requirements.
Scope
The target audience for the client was the executive leadership of Core Infrastructure Services. The project scope was to research, design, build, stand up, and continually update a wiki that was internal to the organization but external to Private Cloud Services; I completed the original build in 4 months.
Project Brief
I created an external-facing marketing wiki for Private Cloud Services. Wikis are typically internal-facing, meaning they serve as a work space for a team. This external-facing wiki was not a work space; rather, it served to inform executive leadership about Private Cloud Services work, plans, and potential.
Problem
Create a platform for informing and updating executives about the continually evolving work in Private Cloud Services.
Process
I conducted interviews with stakeholders and site owners, designed wireframes in Adobe XD, and iterated and refined the wireframes based on input from stakeholders and site owners. Once they agreed on a design, I created original assets in Adobe Illustrator and executed the design in Confluence.
I added pages and updated information after regular check-ins with stakeholders, the site owners, and the product manager.
My Role
I was responsible for the entire process. This included
- competitor analysis
- copy and microcopy, which included editing and adapting complex documents so the material was approachable
- wireframes in various fidelities
- interactive prototypes
- stakeholder meetings
- iterations
- final mockups
- construction, updates, and maintenance in Confluence
