All my work (15+ years) involves user experience, content, and writing. I’m always looking for ways to make products and content more engaging, easier to access, and more intuitive, with less cognitive load.
UX and content design are innate to me – give me a project, and I can tell your story, with empathy, engagement, and understanding.
My particular expertise is designing and writing with the client’s or brand’s voice and translating complex ideas into digestible content. That’s where the UX comes into writing: channeling the client or brand and empathizing with the users.

I have designed or redesigned and built a dozen websites, audited and copyedited websites and apps, designed or collaborated on external-facing wikis, and designed 3 apps. In each, I wrote, curated, or edited the copy.
My UX writing experience ranges from microcopy to short- and long-form web content, as well as reviewing apps for content, flow, and functionality. The samples below represent both UX design and UX writing, from microcopy to web content.
Here are a few samples of my work focused on research, content design, and content strategy. My role has encompassed content strategy and management for a 500+ page enterprise-scale website, copyediting, and researching topics I was unfamiliar with to develop or improve content for a variety of purposes – from informational brochures to government reports to websites and apps.
If you’re looking for web content examples, you’ll find them above in the UX case studies.
I’m an editor as well as a writer and designer, so I can make sure your copy – microcopy to long-form – is written correctly.
My 15+ years of editing experience includes microcopy, app and website reviews, academic papers, novels, business reports, and more.
Editing is now a secondary (not primary) part of my work, but without editing, apps and websites go live with typos and grammatical errors, so here are a few examples of my editing work.
